The autoclave sterilizer that achieves full sterilization at a low enough temperature to protect delicate implements. (Not recommended for plastics.)
OSHA and the CDC require sterilization for use with critical instruments that are intended to draw blood during a procedure, such as extractors, tattoo needles, etc.
The KaVoKlave operates at 250°F (121°C) to achieve full sterilization.
Implements are placed inside plastic cassettes, which are suspended vertically on an internal rack assembly. Total cycle time, from pushing the "start" button to handling the sterilized implements is 25 to 30 minutes.
